Calling All Volunteers: Join the UEFI Forum Webinar Series

Tuesday, September 22, 2020

Given the shift to virtual events this year, the UEFI Forum has been prioritizing themed educational webinars on our UEFI Forum BrightTALK channel. Since March, we have built an audience of over 1,000 firmware enthusiasts and hosted eleven webinars covering a range of webinar topics from security to member company implementations. If you haven’t yet, please register for our next webinar entitled “Firmware Integrity Measurements and Attestation,” airing on October 21 at 10:00 am PT.

As we wrap up the first series of webinars, we would like to encourage our member companies to submit the next round of timely firmware focused topics. If you are a firmware developer, this is your chance to share your expertise and reach a larger audience.

UEFI Virtual Webinars: Call for Speakers

UEFI Forum members are invited to submit presentation abstracts to be considered for a 45 minutes to one-hour technical session, followed by a live Q&A. Depending on the type of content we receive, sessions may be grouped around a common topic/theme or shared individually.

If you are interested in presenting a webinar, please send through the following content to the UEFI PR team at press@uefi.org:

  • Proposed title
  • Short session abstract (est. 100 - 300 words)
  • Speaker name, company and title

If you are planning to submit a presentation topic, remember the following:

  • Missing deadlines may impact your ability to present
  • All presentation content shall remain neutral and educational; any product pitches or sales-oriented material will not be considered
